Solomon "Sure-Shot"

Been getting to play D&D recently with some friends which has been awesome since it has really been a long time since I've gotten to play(Rather than DM)

This group is known to be...remarkable is how I'll put it, so my plan was to make a character I wasn't too attached to. After a good few sessions I've totally failed. I really don't want to die now haha

"I'm getting too old for this..."

Anyways hopefully things go well. If not I'm gonna be pretty peeved to lose this guy!

Glorious Nippon Steel

Drew this up a little while ago. Decided to go for something a little different from my usually style and see where that took me. See how finished I could totally make a more historical figure look.

I know normally a Samurai wears 2 swords but for this I opted for 1 sword to keep it extra simple.

And that's a wrap!

Wow it's been forever since I've posted something. I recently finished out working on the 2D FX of Harmonquest Season 2 and that was a real blast to work on! Long hours, tons of blood sweat and tears, but the final project has come together quite nicely. I learned tons about smoke, fire, and other miscellaneous FX. Below is a link to my demo reel from the show.

I really enjoyed work on this one and can't wait to start the next show!

Meet the Artist!

This a cool thing going around right now I had never seen before so I figured what the hell. I'll totally draw one.

It's mee!

Decided I would also just do some simple flat colours in Photoshop to give a little more umph

This probably took longer then it should have haha but I got it done in time still!

Stoneforge Blades

I'm trying this new thing where I keep my blog up to date so here we go. Couple weeks ago I started colouring this drawing in when I had to stop due to taking a test for a job with a local studio. I probably would have finished sooner if I hadn't put this drawing on hold.

Behold The stoneforge Mystic in all her glory!

So as I pray, Unlimited blade works!

This was actually super fun to produce as I haven't done digital in a long time and frankly, I'm not usually a huge fan of but this turned out well enough I'm going to put out a lot more digital work this year!

I'll er...eventually post my 2D FX stuff I swear.

2017 Has arrived!

And with it now, my first post in the new year!... Er also my first post in a...a long time
so here, have a monster(get it? ha) drawing to start. The finished version of my Carnifex spread from the end of last year. It spans two pages in my sketchbook. Drawin with at darkest an 8B pencil and up to the lightest, a 5H pencil.

How ironic it is that as fast we spread progress and hope throughout the galaxy, the Tyranids spread death and despair.

I kinda miss the good old days of my Nid'Zilla swarm.

Kicking off 2017 with a bang, I've planned my next drawing out and will post WIP soon. I'm also working on some new FX pieces I'll post all together here when they're finished.

First for Inktober

So I'm actually only going to update my Inktober at the end of every week so that I'm not spamming mini posts but this one is to keep everything uniform and seven drawings to a post later. Plus I really wanted to kick off Inktober with something fun.

My first drawing for Inktober is also a redraw I've wanted to do for a while now. It's of one my early drawings from roughly twenty years ago. I was Five.

What's green, breathes fire, and eats trains for breakfast?

Did that twenty years ago for dad. He keeps it in his toolbox. Below is my Inktober one from this year.

AHHH GODZILLA!!!

He's big, he's angry he's...a lot less cuddly. Drawn with ballpoint pen on Manilla paper. That is one hell of a time skip.

That's it for now. I'll post more Inktober stuff at the end of the week!
